Loved it! I made this for a Family Get Together last year, everyone loved it and ask if I'm going to make this every time they come for dinner.

Great recipe! I've varied it with cranberries and pears too!

I hate raisins so much that I felt even Guy couldn't change that. I used craisins instead and it was wonderful. The beauty of Guy's recipes (beside the obvious is you can make minor alterations to your taste and pantry and not destroy the meal.

I skipped the marinate hoping to turn it into a quick week night dinner. The apples, onions, and rasins sounded like it would hold it's own. I did everything else exactly the same, it just was not very impressive mine turned out to be limp pork chops with apple mash on top :-( Next time I will definetly not skip the marinate.

PS. I love GUY!!! I love seeing him in so many shows, keep it coming!!

and this was one of my first dishes. Wasnt sure what to expect but it turned out great! Substituted 1/2 teaspoon of powdered ginger. The onion, rasin , and apples really worked well together. Next time I will let it marinade longer than the prescribed 20 min.

I hosted a dinner party and constructed my entire menu around this dish. It was wonderful. I doubled the amount of ginger (used fresh ginger and let it marinade for several hours. I also added brown sugar to the wine sauce to really make the flavors pop. I served with sauteed butternut squash (sauteed with leeks and green beans. Dessert was baked apples with vanilla ice cream. Dinner was a big hit, and the pork chops were the star!

Directions were very easy to follow and it came out great . We substituted chicken broth for the white wine and omitted the ginger. This is the first one of Guy's recipes that we've tried but it won't be the last!

I absoutely LOVED this recipe!. I'm not a big pork chop eater, but I didn't know what to fix for dinner. I had some pork chops so I decided to check out this recipe. The onion, apple, rasin and wine mixture gave the chops just enough sweet taste to compliment the lemon and garlic in the chops. I prepared the recipe as it called for except I use ground ginger instead of minced. It's also pleasing to the eye and plates well. I felt like I was at a high class resturant in my own kitchen!!

I made this for the first time tonight and we loved it! I had to bake the pork longer than the redipe called for, but they were thick chops. Could use a little more flavour somehow, I will experience and update. Over all Very Delicious!

I followed this recipe exactly except for taking the chops out a few minutes early. It tasted great and had the right amount of fruit/vegetable topping. The thick pork chops stay moist when prepared this way.
