I would cut the white wine in the Chicken marinade down to 3 tablespoons, increase soy sauce to 3 tablespoons and add 2 or 3 tablespoons of brown sugar or honey, cut the lemongrass to 1/4 cup, heat the whole shebang to a simmer, take off heat and steep for 15 minutes, let cool add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil (don't use extra virgin olive oil won't taste right and then marinate chicken.

Huge disappointment given all the work. Chicken ended up 'mealy' after marinating for 5 hours. The vinegrette was over-powering. Won't make this again.

Chicken was excellent, will definitely make again. There are some more authentic green papaya salad recipes out there but worked well together. Very tasty.

If you had you had to throw the dish away you obviously did some wrong in the preparation, or maybe you just have a taste for fast food.

We loved it. Agree with Gary---use fresh, quality ingreds. and you won't be disappointed. If you're worried about the 1 star from Null----DON'T worry. He RARELY gives anyone a good rating. So as usual Null is VOID.

We had to plan ahead to be able to locate all the ingredients; and we'll use the mandoline next time to prep the salad; but the chicken was absolutely wonderful even warmed up as leftovers. We'll make this frequently.

Quite possibly the best chicken dish I have had in years. It's a little tough to find green papaya in my area, but the sald ia worth the effort too.

Simple enough, but like anything else, you've decided the quality of your meal the moment you put the groceries in the car. If you use poor ingredients, or enjoy the "taste" of fast food more than fresh vegetables and savory chicken, the results will be less than satisfactory.

I followed the recipe with no changes, or additions. The finished product went into the trash and we had fast food which, in itself, says a lot. The recipe sounded like it would be very good. I'm sorry it was such a disappointment.
