These were delicious and a huge hit. I substituted Trader Joe's Chicken Italian sausage, because my daughter has a food allergy with pork. I completed the appetizer in the morning, refrigerated it until ready to cook, brought it to room temperature before broiling and they were excellent! Easy and delicious!

I made these for a cookout over the weekend and they turned out pretty good. Although I did not think they were spicy at all, everyone else loved them. After going to three different grocery stores for the large jalapenos (where do you find these??, I ened up substituting them with large sweet red peppers (part of the reason why they weren't spicy. I did add a couple of diced jalapenos in the mixture. I used 1.25lbs of hot italian sausage (2 pounds would have been way too much. I added a lot more garlic than the recipe called for. Added additional seasoning such as onion poweder and red peppers flakes. I also added the mozzarella cheese to the mixture (as well as topping each pepper with the mozzarella cheese. Next time I will definitely add more jalapenos to the mixture as well as try some hot sauce.

Made these for a Super Bowl Party and they were a hit!! Have made them several more times and the mixture is just wonderful. For the sissy's like me, I also use some colored peppers as well as the jalapenos, my sons and husband like the jalapenos the best. Also used Frito scoops, heated up the extra mixture for a little dip!! wonderful!!!

Everybody that I have made these for loves them. They are so addicting. I did a taste test. I made half a batch with the cream cheese and the other half with marscapone to see if there really was a difference. It is always unanimous that people choose the marscapone. Also, the green jalapenos are much better than the red ones. Thanks Guy for a wonderful and fun recipe!

Absolutely great! Not too hot--just make sure to get out all of the ribs and the seeds. Save yourself the fat--use a turkey italian sausage and you will NEVER know the difference. Try using the 2% motz. cheese, too.
As suggested we used the left over meat mixture in Fritos Scoops--YUM!

These turned out AWESOME! I made just the 30 halves and they were gone as soon as I sat them on the table! There really is alot of left over "stuffing". We often make Giada's Turkey and Artichoke Stuffed Shells which are great too. I used the left overs stuffing (which was about half and substituted them for the turkey and artichoke mixture. Let me tell you--once again AWESOME!

OMG! I was this recipe on one of your shows and thought I had to try it. I made them for my boyfriend's potluck at his job when he was in manager training and they were a big hit. A week later, the team he supervises decided to have a potluck and begged him to bring more. It's great with the mild sausage too!! I'll definitely be making these on every special occasion!!

Love, love, love this recipe as do most of my friends! Couple tips -- use spicy sausage if you want more heat, but they are good for a party with varying tastes. Also, put out some tabasco. DON'T heat the jalapenos more than (5 minutes or at hotter temp -- they are supposed to be harder so you can pick them up -- this is finger food. DO cook the sausage until done, (much longer that 2 min - more like 20 min -- (in watching Guy on TV, looked like he bought sausage that was already cooked and just heated up. I used cream cheese only and it was great and cheaper. We also had a lot of mixture left over and used very large jalapenos. So, make more, make more, make more -- I had friends fighting over the last one. You can also vacuum seal and freeze for later. That was great not having to cook the mixture again.

Anyway -- we would recommend this recipe to everyone! Took it to a Superbowl Party this year, and brought only (30 since we didn't know how they would go over -- wish I had had extra jalapenos and all that extra mixture!!
