This is one of my favorite dishes ever. I spoke to the chef at Johnny Garlics and the BBQ sauce they use is Sweet Baby Rays, just so you know.

Good idea, but the chipotle sauce a little sweet for me. Easy to make variations on it. The hot links were a nice touch.

Love this! I've made it countless times for family dinners, pot lucks, etc. and always get complimented on it. I have found that the brand of BBQ sauce you use makes a huge difference. I use one that is very mild, so that it doesn't "over BBQ" the cream sauce. I've also changed this up using chicken, steak, all seafood - it's good however you do it.

I made this for the family with high expectations. I thought it turned out OK, my 14 year old said it was OK, my 17 year old did not like it, and my wife said it was the worst thing she ever ate. I have tried to get her to temper that statement, I mean come on, the worst EVER?.

I agree with another comment, too BBQ-saucey with the chipotle sauce. With the right sauce, this recipe would be fine. With the sauce as is, not so good.

This is one of those dishes where you just sort of have to look the other way when it comes to all the fat and carbs you'll be consuming. It is SO delicious, and SO well worth it! Pair it with a dry white wine, and it'll be true love.

Excellent. You have to use Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet Onion Vidalia barbeque sauce to make the sauce or the sauce will taste like BBQ sauce if you use any other BBQ sauce. The Sweet Onion Vidalia is hard to find but once I find it in the store and especially when its 10 for $10 or $1.00 each I puchase a lot of them to have on hand because I'm asked to make this dish a lot.

Wow, was this ever good! I really, really like spicy food and this had my face sweating. For those of you who don't like so much heat, cut down on the red pepper flakes. I did use a really hot Louisiana Hot Link too. Served this with Guy's bruchetta and they were perfect together!

Tasted like BBQ sauce, not chipolte, fix that problem how ever you feel. Taste your sauce before adding to the mix

I was watching the life of Guy Fieri and they kept showing this dish, I searched and searched till I found it and I'm so glad I did! I went right out and got the things I needed and whipped this dish up and enjoyed it so much! It's simple, full of flavor and hardy. It is amazing that BBQ is a part of the dish but it doesn't taste like BBQ. I follow the recipe to the letter and it wasn't hot to me, but I'm used to spicy foods. I do have left over sauce so I plan on using it with the left over shrimp I have. Guy your life is just right and so is this dish! Thanks for bring such a simple yet tasty dish to all of us!
