this recipe is outstanding!!!! I made it for the first time for a good friend. She was having her family over for Xmas dinner on a Friday and had no time to cook, so I came to the rescue. Family members who love TGIF's potstickers thought these outbeat them!! I was thrilled. I did change things up a bit by frying them first, and then following Sunny Anderson's recipe, after the fry was over, threw in some ice and lidded. That's where the steam comes in. Truly a favorite of mine forever. Thanks Guy, you are awesome

I have never posted a review before, but these pot stickers were too good to NOT rave about. The only thing I did differently was use ground chicken opposed to pork (just not a pork fan. All joking aside, these taste better than those you get from take out simply because of the lack of grease. I was nervous about cooking them for such a short period of time in the boiling water because I didn't want to undercook them but a minute-minute and a half is all that was needed. I HIGHLY reccommend this recipe - you will NOT be disappointed! Enjoy! Thanks Guy!

A bit too much ginger for me, but very good. If only going to boil and not fry, needs to be for significantly longer.

I have made "dumplings" from another recipe many times. I have never fried them to make them into potstickers as this was my first time. I tripled the recipe and they turned out really good. I think I will stick to the non fried "dumplings" to make a bit more healthy. I made sesame noodles to go with these.

loved the recipe, extra filling can easily be used as cat food. the one downside is all the extra potstickers >:/ but me and my cats, certainly enjoyed the rich filling of this recipe. THANKS GUY! definately making these again for me and mittens :D

This is a very good recipe! It can simply be changed just by using ground chicken or beef. Any way you choose to make them, they are excellent. Thanks Guy
Note for parents: this is a great recipe to get your children involved.

This was outstanding! It was a bit labor intensive to put them together, but well-worth the effort.

I LOVE THIS RECIPE, THE ONLY REASON WHY I WANTED TO MAKE IT IS BECAUSE I WENT TO NEW YORK LAST YEAR AND MY COUSIN TOOK US TO CHINA TOWN TO TRY THE DUMPLINS MMMM THERE WERE GOOD, BUT WHEN I TRIED THIS ONES I WAS LIKE OMG THESE ARE BETTER THAN THE ONES IN NEW YORK! AHHHHH SOOO GOOD, I WILL MAKE IT SO MANY MORE TIMES! MMM VERY EASY TO MAKE AND IS NOT TIME CONSUMING AT ALL!

@ rebeccalackie: To avoid using eggs, try the egg substitue that is sold in the grocery store in the dairy aisle. You can even just use water - just the wrapper getting moist makes it sticky which is the purpose of the egg so the seams seal together.
