    This is an awesome staple! We make it with plantains and black beans and rice. Also...it makes great sandwiches later on and lasts for several meals! It's great for families on a budget!

    I watched the show and had to try this. No one fell out of their chairs with praise nor did anyone get food poisoning. I slow smoked this on my Kamado all day. Thankfully the applewood made the flavor better.

    The good part is the leftovers made excellent shepard's pie!
