My husband and I both loved this recipe. I made it for dinner tonight, and it was great...I esp love the use of the ham instead of bacon. I thought one chicken breast would not be enough, but it was...and the dressing was very tasty and didn't need a lot to get the flavor.

I have always been a fan of Ellie's, and this just proves I will continue to be a fan. Thanks Ellie!

We used all arugala instead of romaine and watercress. I was wary of crisping the ham, and it never really got "crisp," but still nicely browned. I liked the 1:1 ratio for the vinaigrette. Overall, a very satisfying and tasty salad.

This way a nice light meal, actually two meals. I skipped the avocado, but the flavor was still well rounded. We felt satisfied, but not weighed down. This will definatly be on the menu at my house often!

Very hearty and filling without the guilt of a traditional Cobb salad. Way to go Ellie!
