    taste was good, but needed to drizzle with evoo while baking for a litte moisture. Tarter sauce was quick, easy, healthy and tasty :

    These cakes were just ok. They weren't fabulous, and they weren't terrible.

    What I am thinking is that I would rather eat my regular version of crab cake, and less of it. I get more satisfaction from my regular version.

    I may take some of Ellie's ingredients and put them in mine, and make them meet in the middle. But... I gotta fry them.

    I love Ellie though, and think she should be on more than once a week!! I mean come on, if Sandra Lee can get a weekday show, surely someone with real talent can!

    i saw this episode yesterday and made this recipe today. i absolutely loved the idea of baking these instead of frying/sauteing with all that butter. you don't even miss the extra fat! at first i was skeptical of the smarter tarter, but i love that as well! couldn't ask for a better recipe.

    I watched your show today 4/22/06 and made the crab cake recipe for dinner and we loved them....My husband said "this recipe is a keeper."

    i like too much this recipe, i don't see food network frecuencitly, 'cause i live in hermosillo, sonora, mexico, but when i can see it. i love it, and i saw this recipe once i go to tucson. excuse me for my english, i'm mexican, and congratulation for this channel, i think you should come sometime to mexico, and made some programs here. i'm fan of all your programs.
