I just made these for my mom as a Mother's Day gift, since figs, ginger and dark chocolate are 3 of her favorite foods. The one truffle I sampled was delicious and now I cannot wait to give them to her tomorrow. Easy and fun to make, too!

I made these as dessert for our Passover Seder and they were a huge hit. I also tried them with apricots and milk chocolate for the kids who don't like dark chocolate, and they too were a big hit. A wonderful recipe. Thank you!

I made this with candied pineapple instead of ginger. Everyone LOVES it! Like a chewy chocolate yummy treat from heaven. I will make these for Valentines Day, forget the store bought stuff!

This was an easy recipe to follow, however the ginger root flavor was over powering, for us. Every one has different tastes and you may love it, as the others who tried it did, we love the cherry almond clusters, and make them so much I know the recipe by heart. I however am glad I tried this, as most of Ellie's recipes we have loved. I will try this again but I will leave out the ginger and replace with roasted almonds or maybe even pine nuts or both.

I used apricots instead of figs for wider appeal. I would add a bit more ginger - I could hardly taste it. Other than that, they were amazing!

The taste is interesting but you must like figs. I enjoyed this and it felt guilt free.

I made the truffles this morning with my 3-year old daughter. We both loved them and she really enjoyed getting messing rolling the fig mixture into balls and dipping them in the chocolate. They were a little messy to make, but well worth it. Thanks, Ellie!

Wow! What an easy, tasty and nutritious recipe! I have made them twice, and each time they have been well received.
Consider rolling in crushed pistachios, or peanuts for extra "WOW" factor

My subject line says it all. These were just wonderful and a serving size (2 truffles was just right. Totally satisfying. A nice dessert to make for guests and they'll think you worked on them all day. Thanks Ellie for teaching me that eating healthy doesn't have to taste bad but tastes incredibly delicious!
