This was a pretty good recipe. I added lime to the fish before I put the rub on...I was not a big fan of this recipe, but my boyfriend loved it. The rub made plenty for two big salmon filets, but be careful not to burn it. I cooked it ion the stovetop on medium for 7 minutes on each side (we like WELL DONE fish but when I flipped it the first side was a little too dark, so just watch the fish so it doesn't burn. I will be making it again since it's not only pretty healthy, but the boyfriend loved it!

Easiest salmon recipe, and just the right combination of sweet and spicey. This dish can be ready in under 15 minutes.

This is an amazing recipe...a great crowd pleaser! You can do it in the oven or on the grill..very flavorful. I usually double the rub as you really need to layer it on there.

I thought this was okay, I also used a lot of rub like one of the other reviewers and found it to have only some flavor. I would have liked it to have a lot more. It was my first time cooking salmon as well, so it very well could have been me. I think next time I'd add more chili powder to add a little more spice, we like things spicy at my house. I only could really taste the sweetness. I have lemon on any fish I'm having, so I added freshly squeezed lemon juice on it and it brought out more flavor.
I am a dipper so I typically like things with some sort of a gravy or something I can dip in, but that's just me, so I will probably try a different recipe that I could get that. Like I said this was my first time making salmon so I wanted something easy to ease my way into it, I would probably make it again to try and make it better. My boyfriend who is not the biggest fish fan did like it though which is good.

i thought this was pretty bland - disappointed because it sounded good and flavorful. i used a lot of the rub too, and still not too exciting.

This is a really great spice rub for fish. I served it with brown rice and a corn/tomato/red onion salad and it was amazing. The only thing I would change would be to add a little more salt to the rub in order to counteract with the sweetness of the brown sugar.

OMG I am in love with this! I bought a huge piece of salmon, kept the skin on cause that's what she did in the show. Grilled it outside with the times she suggested & it was perfect! I will be having this often with Ina's watermelon & arugula salad.

Herbed Lentils with Spinach and Tomatoes

    Ingredients
    1 cup French lentils
    2 cups water
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    2 tablespoons diced shallots
3 cups baby spinach leaves (about 3 ounces
1 cup halved grape tomatoes (about 1/2 pint
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1/4 cup chopped fresh mint leaves
    2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    Directions
Place the lentils in a pot with the water and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 30-35 minutes, until the lentils are tender but still retain their shape. Drain any excess water from the lentils and set them aside.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over a medium-high heat. Add the shallots and cook until they are softened, about 3 minutes. Add the spinach and cook until just wilted, about 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes, lentils, basil, parsley, and mint to the pan and stir to combine. Cook until warmed through, about 1 minute. Stir in the lemon juice, salt and pepper and serve.

I'd love to try this recipe, but does anyone know where to find the recipe for the lentils shown in this picture? It looks delicious!
