This drink is absolutely delicious!!! Fresh, sweet/sour, and so refreshing!!! I made two changes. I didn't have marischino liquer, so substituted black cherry liqueur mixed with a little marischino cherry juice and used just plain golden rum (not any aged. Really, really good. No wonder Hemingway liked to drink!!!

This drink was a huge hit. The flavors were very balanced. not too tart or too sweet or boozy. a wonderful combination. I made it exactly the way it was written.
