I served these along side a couple other FN recipes for dinner tonight and they were fabulous! I never use as much salt as a recipe calls for (it can be added later if needed, so mine were right on flavor. I put the leftover marinade in the crevices of each tomato before baking, and what came out on the pan was used for dipping homemade popovers ... soooo good!

I made these very tasty tomatoes for New Year's Day and they were a great addition for my traditional black eye peas, cabbage and deli turkey slices rolled w/cornbread dressing.

I, too, used about 1/4 tsp. of salt and 1/2 tsp. cracked pepper.
These tomatoes are delicious ... if you love bruschetta, you will love this recipe!

    Thanks, Aaron !

Aaron, this is a great recipe. My children even ate these tomatoes!!!! I will make again and again -- I did use mozzarella on half of them for the little ones. They ate them all! Adults and older children loved the Parmesan!!

We were 5 at the table. I used 10 medium tomatoes ... and that was nowhere near enough. They were soooo good. Now I'm back getting the printed recipe so we can make more. Thanks Aaron, for a great recipe. I've read that they were too salty... I used my palm for measuring the salt, probably 1 1/2 tsp. I agree that 1 tbsp is a typo. Hopefully, someone from the food channel will correct the salt quantity. This recipe is too good to mess up. This isnt the first recipt from Big Daddy that we have tried. Keep up the good work!!!

My family loved these tomatoes. I agree with the other reviewers too much salt, so when I made it again I just lowered the amount of salt and it was just fine. My teenage son adores this recipe and continues to make request for it. Another BIG DADDY HIT!!
