This recipe is for a Hot Brown FRITTATA, not a Hot Brown (sandwich, which is a different presentation altogether. This is true to its inspiration, and a yummy breakfast/brunch dish.

I have personally been to Lynn's Paradise Cafe, and this is nothing like the Hot Brown I had! There are too many eggs, which make the dish more like a keish, the mornay sauce wasn't thick enough, but I added flour to help thicken it. Overall the dish tasted good, but nothing like a true hot brown.
