So easy for a novice cook like me. I wasn't sure if it would turn out but I used 6 eggs, 1/2 cup of diced ham, 1/2 small onion, most of the cup of extra sharp cheddar cheese, 1/4 heavy cream, and the rest. I let it sit on the stove for 5 minutes moving it about as the directions explained, then I put it in the oven at 400 degrees for a few minutes before switching on the broiler to brown the top. I am afraid I didn't follow the directions very well, but it turned out excellent. It's foolproof and DELICIOUS! Made this for just the two of us and my husband loved it.

Very tasty and easy recipe. Didn't change a thing. Used a combination of cheddar and swiss and fresh herbs from my garden. Nice light summertime supper. Great with salad and a bit of sourdough bread.

I was cooking dinner and I needed to find something quick to eat for myself and I wanted something a little different, so I logged on and came across this recipe. I had most of the ingredients made only 2 substitutions ( the type of cheese and meat. I only made half of the recipe which still made more than enough for me. This really is a quick and easy one. I am not going to let my family see my culinary skills until I make it a few more times. I know they will be impressed. You will be when you try this one too.

This frittata is great! I made it with shallots, mushrooms, ham, and mozzarella cheese (because it was what I had on hand and it turned out delicious! Also to cut the "bad fat", I used four complete eggs and four egg whites and it still worked fine. It seems like you can't go wrong with this recipe. It is easy, delicious, and versatile.

I used this recipe as the base for a frittata I made last night. I changed the ingredients as follows: a clove of minced garlic instead of onions, diced prosciutto instead of ham, and fresh grated asiago and aged provolone cheese. I also added some roasted red peppers and fresh basil, then followed the technique in this recipe exactly for cooking the frittata. It was very, very good. My husband and our guests loved it--there were four of us and no leftovers. I'd suggest this as a really good base to play around with and add your own ingredients if you'd like to change the flavor. One note however, was that for me the cooking times ended up being shorter than the recipe stated, so keep an eye on things in order to avoid overcooking.

Super easy after a long day at work! This would be awesome in a flour tortilla for a great breakfast on the go. This is a keeper!!!

I made this last night and used this recipe as a base. I then added mushrooms, red bell pepper, and spinach. I ended up adding 2 more eggs and a little half and half (was trying to clear out the frig. It was great! My husband loved it. Served it with some crusty roasted garlic loaf bread. It does make a huge amount for 2 people, but my husband said this is one leftover he is looking forward to.
