This recipe is outstanding!! I made it exactly the way she makes and served it with light vanilla ice cream.. it was perfect!

I made this for dessert when my brother and sister in law came over for dinner and we all loved it. They requested that I make it for the holidays. I think I'll serve it with pumpkin ice cream as my brother suggested. Thanks Ina.

The recipe itself worked fine, but the taste of the pears was too subtle for my taste. I will make this again with mixed berries or all apples.

I made this for thanksgiving last year and I will definetly be making it again this year because it was a huge success. The combination of the pears and apples is delicious and who doesn't love a crisp topping! I have yet to try one of her recipes that disappointed me!
