So good! I am not a good baker at all and these were easy and delicious. I cut the recipe in half and didn't measure the sugar, just sprinkled some on. I'm sure I used way less than what was called for. For the glaze I just brushed on my home made peach freezer jam and it heated up from the hot tarts. To me they tasted like homemade toaster strudels without the icing, but way better! I cooked them exactly as directed and they didn't burn or anything.

The easiest best desert ever !! - I watched them while they were baking, because I heard that some people had a burning problem - They came out perfect - Everybody asked me where I bought them - Thanks Ina for making me a baking star :o

I should have read the reviews before I made this as mine too burned on the bottom. I'm pretty sure this was due to the sugar/butter running off the tart, onto the parchment paper and then under the tart. I'm not sure how to fix this (suggestions?? - perhaps turning the edges of the puff pastry to form a border would help. These are so easy that I will definitely give them another try, perhaps turning the oven down to 375 and/or using convection bake.

Super easy to make and very delicious. I followed the directions but since I cut my apple slices thinner and some of the drippings from the tarts were getting quite brown, I cut the cook time to 30mins. I also had my oven on Convection. I will definitely be making these again and again. *Goes well with a scoop of vanilla ice cream ;

So easy and so delicious. Tarts look like they came from a fancy bakery and taste just as good. I will be making these often!

I made these for July 4th but I also had an issue with burning on the bottom of the pastry. Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated. The tarts that did not burn much were delicious. I thought perhaps using less sugar might make a difference?

Delicious,crispy..raves all around !! Was a 4th of July hit. I had apricot preserves and thinned with Triple-Sec. Everyone loved the glossy finish. Easy and scrumptious.
