I'm a long time reader, first time reviewer. Despite the already high ratings here, just wanted to share my take, as I've made this salmon many many times. It's easy, tasty and our go-to recipe when we want to impress. I started making it per the recipe, then tried it on the stove top, then now prefer to cook it in the oven. Any way you cook it, it's the marinade/sauce that really takes this to another level. I also add a little minced ginger (less than the garlic to make it even tastier as other have suggested. (As one reviewer complained that this wasn't "asian" enough, adding some ginger might fix that.
BTW, this is going on our Thanksgiving table tomorrow.

I have made this recipe several times this summer and cooked the salmom on cedar planks on the grill. The salmon just melts in your mouth. I cook salmon a lot and this is our favorite. I encourage everyone to try cedar plank cooking for salmon. Enjoy!

We cook salmon a lot and this is by far our favorite way of cooking it! I've made it for dinner parties and it's always a hit and my 5 yr old loves it! I don't change a thing and it's delicious.

I think I have reviewed this before but I have to do it again. I made this again last night for a dinner party and everyone loved it. I make this at least three times a month and its always amazing!!!! I had the butcher take off the salmon skin and I think the salmon cooked more evenly through-I will alway have the skin removed when making this salmon from now on. I cook on a grillpan and every time it is delicious!!! Ina you never disappoint.

A new favorite in our home. Love this on salmon as well as tilapia! Also have sprinkled old bay on the fillet and then added this! So GOOD!

This has become a family favorite at my house. My children request it. I always do it on the grill and cook it only until med rare. Great for guests or just my family.

This was a great recipe very good, I put foil on the grill to help with the sticking that helped. The family LOVED this and my sister asked for the recipe and will be making it also.

Had 10 friends and 7 kids for a barbeque. Decided on this recipe for it's ease and taste. Everyone had seconds........even the kids! (They all got the "look" on their faces when I told them we were having Salmon. Was I surprised. Even the hot dog eaters dug in on one of the chunks after resting and before serving. If you are looking for an easy, tasty hit for dinner........this is it!
