I've never really liked salmon but for health reasons I bought some. This recipe has changed my mind completely. I love how easy it is and the flavor. Try using Tamari low sodium soy sauce. I'm having left overs today on a bagel with creme cheese and capers...yum! Thanks Ina for the testing and truly wonderful recipe.

I always just cooked my salmon with salt, pepper, and olive oil. I was scared to stray from that, worrying that I wouldn't like it. I saw this and decided to give it a shot....WOW! This was absolutely delicious. I reserved part of the marinade to drizzle over the salmon once cooked, but ended up not using it--the salmon was great as is. I drizzled a little on the rice - it was all right. Next time I'll just buy a pre-seasoned rice to compliment the salmon. You've gotta try this!!

My background is Vietnamese and my husband's is Thai, and we simply loved this Asian salmon recipe. It was sooo easy to make with such simple ingredients, yet the taste was very authentic. My husband uses the marinade on his rice. Easy to whip up any day of the week.
