I was curious about the combination of flavors....... They are GREAT! Adding this one to my quick, easy, classy, and over the top deliscious file. Can't wait t get more good avocados!

This was delicious. However , I believe there is a typo in the recipe. I used the 1 1/2 tsp of salt as called for and it was way too salty. I tripled the recipe and that was more balanced. I think 1/2 tsp of salt is plenty. I also added just a tad bit of Splenda to it to make it more to my families likes. It is such a nice and unusual presentation. I have also made it with a little chopped romaine on the bottom layer.

I made this recipe as written and it was absolutely delicious. Instead of arranging on the plate as described, I made individual salads by placing the marinated avocado and grapefruit slices on top of a mesclun mix, then drizzled the dressing on top. LOVE this recipe.

I made this recipe exactly as written - and was a little leary about drizzling the vinaigrette on the grapefruit, but I did - and it was absolutely delicious. It was a very pretty dish too - and everyone went back for "seconds". If you like grapefruit and avocados, you will love this salad.

Easy to make, not messy, great starter for guests. Fresh and bright. Pretty pink, pale green, and yellow spring colors. I recommend coating the salad in a bowl and then draining off the extra vinaigrette so one doesn't end up with a greasy pool of sauce.

Fresh, clean & classic Ina - loved it! This was a hit with my family & guests! I made it because I had little time for much else and I liked the simplicity of the recipe... but it wowed us and was quite a nice addition to a grilled summer-ish meal. I used a grainy mustard because it is what I had on hand and will use it again - delightful.

Loved it - good way to introduce avocado when you aren't used to to it
