I had trouble finding the smoked whitefish. I followed her recipe using tuna instead. I included all of the other components for this meal. It was a really pretty presentation and none of us could decide on what to eat first. I did add some sliced cucumbers to the tomatoes and onion. Slicing the bagels in thirds was a great idea, less bread to eat and they toast faster!

Extremely good dish. So easy to serve on a platter. A favourite. *****MWS. Made this for my brothers in law and they loved it. So easy. We used 2 tins of salmon instead of the whitefish because they were in the cupboard.

We love smoked salmon, but when I saw this episode I thought what a great way to step it up a bit. In Ohio smoked whitefish isn't easy to find. I ended up using smoked Chub from Whole Foods and it worked great (not sure how it compares to whitefish. The radicchio bowl is a great presentation idea. So easy and looks great. I used Bagel Crisps instead of toasted bagels for the ease in finishing up a great Thanksgiving appetizer tray (they also provide a nice crunch!

I live in Eden Prairie, MN and love to buy whitefish when I travel to Two Harbors, MN. They have the best smoked fish houses. This recipe is wonderful but very rich in flavor. You can easily serve 10-12 people. Make sure you have more salmon and good bagels.
