This is a great make-ahead dish. It also makes the house smell great when you are cooking it. I used a bit more wine and olive oil to make more of a broth to pour over each serving when plated. I served it over sauteed spinach. Ina is the best!

I made this dish for Christmas Eve for 18 people. I made it as the recipe stated with the exception of the salt as to others reviews. Everyone loved it. My sister-in-law received Ina?s cookbook that contained the recipe that night. She tried it and served it on angle hair pasta for another hit. I tried this with fresh speckled trout last night. The only thing I did differently was cut the butter to one stick and baked for 20-25 minutes in a convection oven. I served on a bed of julienned zucchini sauteed in butter. It created a lovely crust and an elegant presentation. This topping is very versatile and will be used often (next time I will try it on chicken breast. It helps to have another great recipe for fresh seafood living with a great gardener (fresh herbs and fisherman (fresh fish and shrimp from the Gulf Coast

I love Ina's recipes. Just not this one. I like the idea of baking the shrimp, they were very tender. But not worth the calories. I much prefer the grilled herbed shrimp.

This is beyond easy... if you purchase shrimp already cleaned and shelled it is literally a 15 min recipe, and your guests would NEVER guess. Even better the next day in an orzo salad!!!

The recipe calls for mixing the two pounds of shrimp with 2 tsps of kosher salt. When served, the entire dish was so salty that no one was able to eat it - including my cat, who up until this dish would literally eat anything. I had accidently left out the additional salt that was suppose to go into the topping. I can't imagine what it would have tasted like it I had added it. I am dumbfounded as to how everyone is rating this dish as excellent. This dish was $25.00 down the drain.

I made this dish for my husband and I. We could not stop saying how delicious it was. It's one of the best dishes I've made or eaten...better than in any restaurant. My husband said it's his new favorite dish. I served it as a meal along side lemon linguini and salad.

This was a very easy recipe to follow. The shrimp came out very flavorful. The only thing I did differently was reduce the amount of oil & butter, so that it would fit my dietary needs. I will definitely be keeping this one in my recipe rotation.
