I will never make mashed potatoes any other way again! I cannot express how good this was. I, too served this with an onion gravy, which I highly recommend.....fabulous meal!

My husband wanted a comfort food dinner and I saw Ina make this on her show. This was my first time making bangers and mash and the potatoes especially were delicious! My husband ended up having thirds. Saving this one to my recipe box!

Quite tasty but not bangers and mash. Bangers are never made with veal or chicken.

Ina does it again, the potatoes are so good. I used the Irish Bangers from Trader Joes and served it with onion gravy and peas. My family was practically licking their plates. :

Wow! Made this last night for a Harry Potter party. We wanted some traditional English fare and boy was it yummy! I used two kinds of gourmet chicken sausages from Trader Joe's. I found the sweet apple version perfect with the mustardy potatoes. I used sour cream instead of the cream fraiche as other reviewers mentioned. Wanted something to serve my vegetarian friend so I made a big casserole of ratatouille. The ratatouille combined with the potatoes-divine! I'll be making these potatoes over and over again. Thanks Ina!

Delicious! The mashed potatoes are so tasty, very different with the mustard/dijon added. No boring potatoes here! I used sweet italian sausage instead cause that is what we had on hand. Hubby loved it!! Thanks Ina, for another great and simple recipe!

We all loved this for lunch on St Patrick's Day. It was simple fare with tremendous flavor. Preparation was easy. I substituted 4 ounces of sour cream for the creme fraiche. Two packages of Johnsonville turkey sausages were the perfect accompaniment. A sprinkling of chopped fresh curled parsley made it green and attractive. This is the only mash to go with your bangers! Thank you, Ina.

Absolutely incredible! They are the BEST mashed potatoes I have ever eaten. Normally, I am not a huge fan of mashed potatoes but these top the charts! Substituted sour cream for the creme fraiche. Thanks and "Kuddos" to Ina once again!
