Collecting all of the ingredients to make the sauce can be a little pricey but well worth it. The sauce recipe makes quit a bit so you might be able to cut the recipe by half. I would also cut back a little on the dijon mustard - I thought it was over powering. Overall though this was a great recipe and pleased many palates.

So easy to make, this BBQ sauce was a favorite all summer on virtually every meat we grilled. Loved it.

We used to travel two hours (one-way twice a year to get our favorite barbeque. After making this recipe we don't need to do that anymore. This is the perfect sauce. Tangy, full-bodied, slightly sweet - it's perfect!

This was the BEST BBQ sauce I have ever tasted. I can't believe I wasted so much money and time buying sauce when I could have made it from scratch! Thank you Contessa for making delicious recipes that are easy to follow but taste as if I were slaving in the kitchen all day.

Recently I threw a birthday party for my brother's 52nd. Everyone raved on how great the sauce taste. My brother told me that he was really surprised that a homemade sauce could be that good. I told him that I was not surprised because I watch Ina all of the time. The sauce went well with my smoked pork shoulder. I will definitely use it on my next BBQ chicken. Ina, you are awesome !

This sauce is great. It is the perfect balance of sweet and hot. We used it on pork chops and marinated chicken in it. The chicken was by far better than the porkchops. I made the full recipe and put the extra in a bottle in the refrigerator for a later date. We are going to try it on wings and on cedar plank salmon next.

My BBQ sauce was awesome but my chicken was dry maybe I cooked it to long plus I used a gas grill.

This chicken was sooo good! I made this for my family and my ten year old son loved it! I didn't cook them out on the bbq, just cooked them in the oven and they still were great!
