Amazingly simple, fantastically delicious! This dressing is a recipe I will use over and over again. To lighten it up a little, I used half regular mayo and have light mayo, with a little less light sour cream and a little more lemon juice, with fresh basil right off the plant. You don't miss the fat, and the taste is the same!

I loved this dressing and so did my book club! I served this salad with Ina's Roasted Shrimp added to it. It was a hit!

I made this as a dip for crudite for a party - DELICIOUS! I cut the salt in half though.

Delicious made 1/2 recipe, used a Meyer lemon. Wonderful flavor, not too tangy!

KILLER GOOD! I didn't even have scallions so subbed a shallot. It was still outrageously good! This is the green goddess dressing recipe I've been looking for for ages! I'm using this on my fish tacos tomorrow.

Gang liked at Christmas. I thought it was a tad tangy, but that issue can be addressed by reducing the lemon a tad.

This dressing is AMAZING!! So fresh and full of flavor. A huge crowd pleaser! I have made this many times and usually add a tiny bit more lemon juice. I have also used Cilantro and Italian parsley in place of the Basil and it's wonderful. The green onion and garlic really give it a nice pepper bite. Don't be afraid of the Anchovy Paste. It doesn't add a"fishy" taste, it contributes a subtle back note and just another depth of flavor. Superb!

I've made this recipe for the last 3 family gatherings and it's a hit! I skip the anchovy paste because I think it's salty enough, and I'm careful with the lemon juice as too not make it too acidic. We use it as a dip with veggies and chips. It takes longer than 10 minutes to make, but it's worth it!

This is a wonderful salad dressing - I would not change a thing and urge everyone to try this - the flavors will knock you out! No cook should be without this recipe in her/his personal cookbook!

this was great! thank you ! its the new ranch in our house! the lemon and basil together are fantastic! Kathecooks says hers was thinner than she wanted..blend everything except sour cream,,add sour cream to blender last and pulse in sour cream, and refrigerate.dont forget to not get carried away with lemon juice, that will thin it also. thanks again Ina ,we are making your old fashioned apple crisp next YOU ROCK !!!
