I have been making my own for years. Although I don't fully understand her small portions of seasonings I am in love with the idea of food processing the celery and graded onion. It's an amazing addition to a classic Bloody Mary. I use about 1/4 a cup of Worcestershire sauce as well as a few teaspoons of celery salt, pepper, horseradish. Just add and taste add more and taste until you are in love with it.

Made these without onion since I don't handle raw onion well. It was pretty bland. Had to add salt and horseradish, but still didn't love it. It was, for us, just ok.

This is an outstanding recipe for bloodies! The blended celery and chopped onion gives the drink a very fresh flavor. In my mind you always prepare the bloody course of brunch with appropriate "sides" (extra horseradish, lime, lemon, hot sauce, etc. for people to tailor their drink to taste.

Not a bad base, but horribly seasoned. I had to wrap 1/4 inch of a kosher and celery salt mix around the rim just to make it drinkable.

Delicious! My husband and I made this for a Sunday brunch. It was a way too chunky for us so we strained out some of the chunks and it was yummy!

This recipe was okay...I don't typically have horseradish or Worcestershire sauce on hand so there were some added expenses I could have done without.
There's a fantastic Bloody Mary mix that I usually buy from Sweet Blazes, Inc - it's all natural and not loaded with sodium like every other mix out there. They make 2 different kinds, my fav is called Boldelicious (has cilantro and celery. There's also a spicier one if you prefer that. Look them up! I'm def a fan :

I don't know what I did wrong! It was kind of bland and it was too thick - almost salsa-y!

OH MY GOODNESS!! This is SOOO tasty! I have tried so many BM's over the years and all are very bland/tasteless. This recipe is quick and easy to put together and THE TASTE...the taste is fresh & flavorful! The drink I made was thick and had bits of onion and celery floating in it, it wasn't pureed smooth and I loved it. BTW: Even as a virgin BM this is delicious. Finally, a Bloody Mary that I can tolerate! Thank you INA! You rock!
