This was a awesome Bloody Mary mix recipe. My husband loved it. It has to be good ofr him to like it. We both enjoyed it.

These Bloody Marys are some of the best I have ever had. Truly, making them the night before is important. I took them one step further and made them with pepper vodka and added a shrimp garnish. Delicious! Thanks, Ina!

Excellent balance. My friend who has never enjoyed drinking bloody marys, drank not one but two!

Just a suggestion for those of you with sensitive tummies. I find that all the tomato juice is a little too acidic for me. I replace a cup and a half of tomato juice with a can of beef boullion. Yum.

This is a wonderful recipe! I love vegetable juice mixes, (V8, etc. I followed Ina's recipe, but the initial consistecy was just a bit too thick for my husband and me so I added about 2 cups more tomato juice. BUT - we drank it initially without vodka, so perhaps the addition of the vodka would have changed that for us. However, even the dilluted version IS good with a shot of vodka.
One note - you DEFINITELY want to let this sit in your fridge overnight. It's not nearly as good freshly-made as it is after sitting 12 hours or so.
Thanks, Ina!! I love your program and all your recipes!
