I cannot conceive a burger recipe that integrates these taste treats. I taste recipes with my eyes, before I decide to cook - this passes the test 3 fold.

These were a breeze to make...I used barbacue sauce instead of steak sauce and havarti jalapeno cheese instead of blue cheese! I will make them again soon! Thanks!

Ina never fails!!! This recipe is absolutely delicious and very easy to make. Even my picky five year old loved it! I will definitely be making this again!

I thought these burgers would taste too "meatloaf-ey" but they really didn't. The egg gives them a nice texture and I love the flavor of the steak sauce, which holds up well against the bleu cheese. They weren't over-seasoned either--just the right amount of salt.

I substituted ground turkey for the beef.

Too much stuff in the meat. How long has the Crosse & Blackwell been in your pantry, Ina?

These burgers were great because they were so simple and very tasty. The guys I cook for really enjoyed the flavor.

These burgers were amazing! Since we couldn't find the steak sauce we used A1 and it was just as good. Easy to make-enough for 8 people. Delicious!

Crosse and Blackwell steak sauce is discontinued. It would be nice if Ina would update the recipe with a different recommendation.

Saw this episode for the 2nd time the other day and decided I HAD to try it. Never made burgers before and was happy to find these to be very easy. I didn't find the recommended steak sauce, but found some other fancy named one (an Irish one that seemed work out great. The recipe made 8 1/2 burgers, and I cooked 3 and put the rest in the freezer. I don't think I packed them quite right, because they were falling apart a little, but again, this was my first time trying. When I defrost a few for the next time, I'll pack them just a little tighter for them to hold shape when I flip them on the grill. I also don't think I had my temperature right (gas grill - but they were cooked and moist and delicious. The blue cheese is not overpowering and the entire meal was fantastic. I can't wait to perfect my burger making skills. I made the burgers with the guacamole salad that Ina made during this episode, which was another SUPER fantastic recipe, as well as easy to make.

I saw some other reviews about this burger being meatloaf-esque, and sure, I can see the resemblance. But I'm not a big fan of meatloaf and just loved the flavor of these burgers. It's definitely worth trying at least once! Enjoy :

These were ok. They tasted more like meatloaf than a burger.
