This recipe was AMAZING. I also as some did used a store bought coleslaw all ready chopped and it still was amazing! We actually had a friend over for dinner who said "I'll pass on the coleslaw nothing personal but have not liked coleslaw since I was a kid". I told it was home made Blue Cheese cole slaw, well once he tasted it, it was all over! He LOVED it and kept coming back for me. He still cannot believe he LOVES that coleslaw now. Thanks Ina I just love your show and recipes!

I made it with the store bought coleslaw pre-chopped to save some time and the recipe still came out delicious. I would definitely make this again as a side dish for summer BBQs. So easy and very tasty!

Tasty Excellent idea. I varied it by adding 1/2 Spanish onion, & a bunch of Broccoli stems shredded. Thanks so much for the idea.

This is not only easy to make but delicious too! My rating is based on the original recipe, but I have made this with variations and it is just as yummy. I have used the store bought prechopped slaw mix and also added in a bag of the pre-shredded broccoli slaw. I like the broccoli slaw added to it because it holds up well with the blue cheese crumbles. Also, I like to use 1/2tsp of celery seed instead of the celery salt. Definitely a crowd pleaser!

Just mixed this up for tonight's dinner. I used a creamier blue cheese from Amish country that I found in the store. It was excellent right after being made, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it tastes tonight when the flavors have melded together.

I don't normally like coleslaw but had this at a party and had to make it! When I served it at my party, it was a total hit! I made a ton and there was not a scrap left! You have to make it!

My nephew made this at a family dinner and we were all wowed! I plan to make it for a Memorial Day picnic. It has a very unique and rich flavor. I don't expect any leftovers...again!!!

My family loved this recipe, and has since requested the recipe. It was quick and easy to make. For interest, I also added thinly sliced red onions. I love blue cheese, but this amount was too much - cut back to just under a cup and it is still wonderful.
