    The first time I made this I only used half the blue cheese (3.oz and it was good, nice light flavor.

    I make my cold slaw sauce this way; same ingredients except I add a little bit of milk. I never thought of adding blue cheese, which I love. It was fabulous. I also add slivers of apple and roughly chop up some raisens. Adds a nice flavor to the slaw.

    The recipe is great. I cooked baby back ribs, boiled yuca and the blue cheese cole slaw. Was a success.

    I made this with a friend last summer and ended up making it for quite a few events over the rest of the summer. Everyone ALWAYS loves it and we discovered that it's a fabulous topper for burgers. YUMMMMMM.

    Until this recipe I had not made a cole slaw recipe that I really liked. I have made this at least a dozen times and everyone that has eaten it have loved it.

    I have modified the dressing recipe slightly - I reduce the mayo by about 1/2 cup and use celery seed instead of celery salt.

    We love this cole slaw. It is super tasty and easy to make. Plus it looks great with all the colors in the slaw. This is our go to recipe for cole slaw. Goes great with BBQ anything!

    One of our favorite restaurants has fantastic blue cheese cole slaw (which was the first time I had ever heard of it and it is one of my husband's favorites. So when I saw this recipe I had to try it and it is fabulous. Very easy and super delicious! The last time I made it, we had left overs so I grilled hamburgers and topped them with the blue cheese cole slaw....heavenly!!!! Even my brother who didn't think he liked blue cheese loved it.

    My stomach hurt the next day because of all the cole slaw I ate. This is the most delicious cole slaw ever!...and so unique!!!

    And... you don't have to get expensive blue cheese. I just bought what I could find that was a reasonable price and it was fabulous!

    If you like blue cheese... and even if you're not sure about it... you'll LOVE this recipe!

    I was really looking forward to making this cole slaw after reading everyone's great reviews. I love Ina Garten and all her shows, cookbooks, and recipes and have made tons of her recipes with huge success, but was very disappointed in this and wound up throwing away the entire bowl of cole slaw. I like blue cheese but couldn't get past the very strong blue cheese flavor in this coleslaw and I had even cut the amount in half. Will be eliminating this one from my recipe file.
