I've had brisket in Texas and New York City and have smoked and cooked it at home on many occassions using various recipes. This is unique and has a great texture and flavor. Not only for Friday nights. It's gets better when it's reheated.

I have made this recipe for company and for my family. Easy to do and excellent results. One of my favorites

Delicious! We cooked the sauce down and served it with polenta. The meat was so tender it almost fell apart! We plan to serve this to company. Also, brisket is downright cheap!

Followed directions. It would have been oustanding if it were not for the overdose of salt. It actually made the gravy inedible. The brisket was delicious.
