I love Ina. This recipe is so simple and so delicious. All my guests wanted the recipe. I will make this again and again. I might try it with string beans and asparagus. DELISH! Just be careful and watch the garlic so it doesn't burn and do add the garlic to the final dish.

It's delicious but recipe uses 1 cup of olive oil yet the directions are to only use 1/4 cup on the broccoli. Is this a misprint?

My daughter, who hates broccoli, even ate this dish up. The whole family complemented the cook, Dad. It is very good, try it!

I made Ina's book version (without the soy, and it still came out tasty and great, with the addition of a little more kosher salt to heighten the flavors. Excellent, would love to try again, thanks!!!

Many people like their vegtable to have some crunch, we don't so iicooked the vegteble first. My timing was a little off so my main meal was not done when my broccoli was.
The result was letting the garlic and oil go a bit longer than directed.
The result was that the garlic turned a bit bitter. no fault of Ina but mine,
    just a bit of advise.

This is a great recipe. There is way too much oil. I cut it by over half and it was still too much.

Absolutely the best broccoli dish I have ever made! The entire family loved it. I did not have whole clove garlic, and used the chopped garlic you find in the produce section instead. This was awesome and I will make it again!

I needed a side dish for a fish and pasta buffet. This was perfect. It held well at room temp and delicious leftover the next day. Several people asked for the recipe and I referred them to the Food Network and
Ina's site. It is very easy, really good and a terrific side dish.
