FYI, the combination of the mustard and the lemon juice made this too sour, so I had to add a bit more balsamic vinegar for my taste. Also, the original was a bit too oily, so the extra baslamic made it just right. I would say I doubled the amount of balsamic vinegar.

Love this recipe. My kids ate all their broccoli and asked for more. My husband loved it too. It's easy to make too!

I made this for the adults. I made their broccolini with butter and salt. They didn't like it so I gave them some of the dressing and they loved it! I am making a second helping of broccolini for my 4 year old right now.

It's very good ! 1- 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt or sea salt is too much. 1- teaspoon will be just fine. I will aways make again. Very flavorful

This is the best recipe for broccolini out there. I LOVE it. Great taste!! I cooked my broccolini slightly longer than the recipe because I like it with less bite. I don't find this recipe bitter or too salty at all. Very flavorful.

How could this recipe be too salty? Are you using table salt? If so, then there's the problem! Kosher salt is the key to use, here, folks! Do you season a little and then taste? I don't like over salted food, either. Switch to kosher salt (or sea salt, and you'll learn what I finally did. It makes ALL the difference in the world. As for the recipe-- I love broccolini and balsamic...so how can Ina go wrong. Delish, as always. Again.. go easy on the seasoning, and taste. Adjust it till it's where you like it.

I had just steamed some Broccoli & Cauliflower for our dinner when this episode of Barefoot Contessa aired in Sydney Australia in May 2009 Whoa are we behind or what!! Altough a good cook some things are not that great like my vegetable dressings so this aired at the right time We thought this was absplutely delish on both vegetables although a little too salty for our taste. I must mention that I do not use salt in a lot of cooking so this is probably just my palate. I have decided to make this my favouritedressing for the future Maybe I might add a drizzle of honey & see how it turns out. We love watching ina in Sydney - she is a great hit

Tried this recipe with broccoli and it was delicious. Plan to use it this summer as an accompaniment to the chicken stuffed with rosemary and lemon for company.
