I used broccoli for this recipe and it worked great (store was out of broccolini. I let broccoli sit overnight in vinaigrette and the broccoli was crisp but had the lovely bite of the balsamic vinegar. Even some folks who don't like broccoli commented that they liked it like this.

This was great. I love balsalmic vinegar. I made this along with the mushroom lasagna, and shrimp bisque, ending with carrot cake. All the aforementioned recipes were from Barefoot Contessa.

Made as a side dish to Ina's shrimp linguini and my entire family loved it. A great summer side dish to make ahead and serve cold.

This was a really easy side to make and something different from the usual broccoli. Broccolini is a bit more expensive, but it really soaks up the vinaigrette. Very flavorful.
