This is so easy and delicious!! It is indeed like between pudding and very chocolatey brownie. It reminded me of Ina's another chocolate recipe, "Brownie Tart" which I love! I don't have framboise, so I put amaretto instead, but it was very subtle and I couldn't taste it. I didn't have vanilla ice ceam on hand so I ate it with whipped cream and strawberries, but I think it's best with vanilla ice cream especially when it's fresh out of the oven. The hot and cold combination in desserts is hard to beat.

This is a good dessert, but not great. I rarely have anything but rave reviews for Ina's recipes. This one missed the mark for my family. We weren't crazy about the crunchy top and super sweet "pudding".

Over the past 3 years, I've fixed this scrumptious and oh-so-easy dessert for countless guests who never cease to be amazed and dazzled by its pure chocolateness! The crunchy texture on top hiding the soft inner moistness is out of this world! It's a WOW dessert of the highest order!

My ten year old son made this for our Valentine's dessert. I, of course, handled the alcohol. I substituted Kahlua for the Frambois. We served it warm, with vanilla ice cream and sliced strawberries. My husband, my son and I all really thought it was the best chocolate dessert we have had.

This is amazing! I substituted 1 tsp. vanilla for the vanilla bean and omitted the liquor. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly! Can't wait for hubby to get home and try his Valentine's Day dessert. It's going to be wonderful with a little vanilla ice cream.

I have made many of Ina recipe's and I have enjoyed everyone of them. This recipe is no exception, it is divine. I used very good cocoa, frambois and the vanila pod that it called for. I did cook it in a water bath and exactly for 1 hour. It came out perfect and very yummy. I would suggest you use the ice cream to cut the richness. This recipe could be tweeked many different ways[coffee, liqueurs, ect]which I will try next time. This is a dish that will be talked about if you serve it to guests.Happy cooking!

I have never made anything of Ina's that I didn't like.. This was no exception. Very easy and delicious!! I didn't use the liqueur, as I didn't have any. I added coffee instead.. Very yummy! Thank you Ina... Again!

EXCELLENT & EASY! As a long time admirer of all things 'Ina' - this is another, in a long line of amazing and amazingly simple recipes! Of course I rushed out to do this dessert 'justice' and purchased two of the rather expensive oval dishes - which of course are a long time investment - something I'm certain Jeffrey would appreciate - but this serves up as well in a square and or rectangular dish. This dish never fails to impress and or perform! And a good ice cream -Vanilla Bean of Coffee- is a wonderful addition. Enough said?

This is a great chocolate dessert without it being too rich or dark. Paired with some good vanilla bean ice cream, this is one of my favorite things to make when I need a chocolate fix. It also helps that my boyfriend is just as in love with it as I am!
