The recipe sounds good however I have not tried baking it as there are two different cooking times listed.
The recipe says "Cook Time: 30 Mins" whereas in the direction it says cook for 1 hour, could you please correct the recipe?

My son watched the show with me and begged me to make it. I made it last night and he waited up to taste it. OH MY GOODNESS!!! We both tried it coming right out of the oven--it was delicious!!! He added vanilla ice cream to his and then informed me that no one else can have it as he was goin to eat it all. Needless to say--we are ALL enjoying it!!! Another great recipe from Ina!!!

I thought the brownie lacked strong chocolate flavor. I didn't add the raspberry flavoring and I used vanilla extract. It tasted really good with the ice cream, but without it it was bland. The top of mine also turned out extremely crusty even though it sat in the pan of boiling water as required. I baked it for the full hour, guess I should have checked it after 50 minutes. Inside was gooey, but I wouldn't call it molten like she did in the episode. I can say it was nice to make a dessert with ingredients that are already in the pantry! Anyways, I probably won't make this again.

As soon as I saw this on TV, I ran to the kitchen to make it for my hubby for Valentine's Day. It is the gooiest, most decadent chocolate dessert ever!!! I cooked mine 50 minutes (instead of an hour and it was perfect. I thought maybe it wouldn't be as gooey the next day, but it's now been three days and it's still perfect! It's not a "pretty" dessert, but no one will mind once they taste it. Our favorite Food Network recipes are from Ina, and my husband wanted me to say..."Ina's gonna kill me! Everything is SO delicious"! Quite a big statement from someone who definitely isn't a "foodie"! :

I think there is a typo - do you bake for 30 minutes (header on top or 1 hour (as stated in the recipe?

This recipe wasn't too difficult. I served it shortly after I got it out of the oven and it seemed a bit underdone. I think I probably should have let it cool more to room temperature before serving so it solidified more. We left out the framboise (don't have it and just used Hershey's cocoa powder. It still turned out delicious and rich.

I cut this recipe in half because it's only me and I wanted to try something special for my own Valentine's Day treat. Because I cut the recipe in half, I decreased the baking time by fifteen minutes and it was fantastic; probably not as gooey as it was meant to be but I loved it brownie-like as well and it was still moist. Perhaps it would have been a little more gooey if I had reduced the time by another five or ten minutes, but I was very pleased with the results and the taste is superb. It has a deep, rich chocolate taste without being too sweet. A very easy recipe - every chocolate lover will love this!

This wonderful recipe was made using Ina's "Barefoot Contessa Back to Basics" cookbook. It's very easy to make ahead. My husband and guests loved it, of course, and so did I! (How could you NOT love a huge, gooey serving of chocolate?! It's important not to overcook, though--the second time I made it I made sure it was slightly undercooked so it was nice and gooey inside. If your oven runs hot, be sure and check it early. Try it--you'll love it!!

This is a great recipe for showing off your cooking skills even if you don't have any. Your guest will think you are amazing and you will barely break a sweat making this wonderfully rich dessert!
