I loathe brussel sprouts, or thought I did, until I tried these. These were yummy. I might add more bacon or pancetta next time for extra yumminess. But a great dish for people who never thought they would ever like brussel sprouts.

I made these brussels to compliment our Christmas Turkey Dinner. They were a hit with everyone! I will definitely make them again. I also omitted the raisins.
    Thanks Ina!

I like the saltiness of the bacon contrasted with the sweetness of the raisins. Soak the raisins before adding. It makes a big difference

What a perfect combination of ingredients and easy prep. This recipe would go well with a pork roast stuffed with prunes and apricots or the famous turkey meatloaf. I knew it would taste good as I was watching Ina prepare it!

this is a great, easy recipe. It's perfect for a dinner party. I have to admit I omitted the raisins, but it's delicious.

I usually don't eat Brussel Sprouts but my mom loves them so I made them. They were very good. Just a tad too much salt though. Next time I'll only put in 1/4 tsp. instead of 3/4 tsp. I will also cook them longer as they were a little to crisp for my taste. With those changes, I will be making this recipe from now on instead of my moms way of just boiling them which does nothing for me, LOL! Thanks Ina!!!

These brussels sprouts were great and very easy to make! We'll be eating more bussels sprouts at our house.

I liked the taste of this dish. Different than the same old cheese sauce.

I hate burssels sprouts but my mom and step dad love them. When I saw this recipe I thought if I don't like them prepared like this then I will never like them. I actually had two servings they were so good. You can hardly taste the brussels sprouts at all. They were a little too salty but if you get a low sodium bacon or low sodium chicken broth I bet they would be perfect.
