These were pretty good biscuits. I have tried several different recipes and this is the only one that actually worked for me. I used powdered buttermilk and omitted the cheese. After they came out of the oven, I brushed the tops with melted butter. The biscuits had a good taste, but were a little crumbly.

These are awesome! I like the recipe as is, but I did cut mine a little smaller. Also great with 1/4 tsp of garlic powder in the dry ingredients. I brush my biscuits with buttermilk before baking and this worked well. I also added a little more cheese because I always add extra cheese to every recipe :

Amazing and oh so yummy on a cold January day! Reduced buttermilk 1 TBS and baking powder 1/2 tsp for high altitude.

Very good! I have never made biscuits before! You have to say it with a southern accent and it sounds better :0 Ina never disappoints. Some helpful tips; stick butter in freezer and buttermilk whisked with egg and cheddar with flour in fridge while getting everything else ready. Get the baking sheet with parchment paper ready and flour with salt and baking powder. That way when you get out the butter and buttermilk with egg and cheddar at the very end they will stay really cold. Also, watch video. It's not connected to recipe though, search on this site "Ina's buttermilk biscuits" and you will find it!

These biscuits were absolutely amazing. They were so flakey on the outside, and on the inside, it was full of light, moist dough and gooey cheese. These are a favorite in my family and we make them every holiday instead of regular old rolls. Great job, Ina <3

Ina you never disappoint. I used unsalted butter, and the kosher salt as directed. Biscuts were great, easy to make. I will never purchase biscuits again. These are a great addtion to our breakfast brunch menu. The ingredients are always on hand at my house.

A perfect biscuit. The best recipe I've used. Am keeping this one. Can make changes and can't wait to try Parmesan and fresh rosemary!
