I've made this many times and it is such a favorite in our house! We use bacon instead of pancetta. The dressing is very flavorful and pungent. This is a terrific sandwich to wrap up and take to a picnic or game. Last night, my Trader Joe's was out of arugula so I used chopped romaine. Just as yummy!

I made this the other night and it was so yummy! Loved the garlic spread as we are big garlic lovers. My husband doesn't like cook chicken on any type of bread so I just did his with no chicken.Mine was awesome with the chicken.Great flavor and would make again.

Nice sandwich; made as written. The sun dried tomatoes seemed superfluous. The raw garlic taste was terribly strong. My family are big caesar lovers so we'll certainly make again, perhaps with roasted garlic to mellow the aftertaste. My bakery had ciabatta rolls which were softened by their time in the oven and were the perfect "caesar" touch. Everyone enjoyed.

Awesome sandwich! Great mix of favors which make it have a very fresh taste. I didn't use anchovies because I didn't have any, but still turned out amazing. This has become one of my favorite "go to" sandwiches

This is the second time I've made this sandwich and we love it. We do not care for tough bread such as ciabatta so I used a soft bakery baguette, and the bread is softer if it is not toasted. I remove the heels before filling then slice the sandwich in half diagonally. Then I wrap each half in parchment paper letting a couple of inches of the tip of the sandwich show and then tie it with natural colored raffia ribbon. In the sandwich the arugula does not have a strong taste. If serving both halves on one plate, prop one half up on the other.

I had all the fixins to make BLT's in a tortilla with chicken and avacado so I thought why not try and make the dressing to put into my sandwich. I didn't have pancetta so I used bacon and I didn't have any anchovy paste so I used some Fish Sauce in place. These were fantastic the dressing is something that I will use alot for sandwich dressing. thank you barefoot contess. Love your show

I made this for a casual yet professional luncheon, everyone raved and wanted the recipe. I didn't use the sun dried tomatoes, but everything else was spot on. The dressing was especially good. Already looking forward to serving it during football season!
