I tested this recipe as is with my husband before making these sandwiches for my Bunko group. We love these sandwiches, as they are so flavorful. I have made them several ways, substituting bacon for pancetta, and a good sliced deli chicken breast in place of the roasted one. I do prefer the roasted breast to the deli chicken, but either way these sandwiches are very tasty.

This is true Ina flavor. I made it on a hot July night and did the chicken on the grill.I t was a big hit with my 3 guests. The bread is key and I was able to get a great crispy loaf.I will make this again.I did everything according to the directions except I forgot parsley and used thyme instead.

This was a GREAT sandwich!!! I decided to make it for our training group (dogs and we were training outdoors. I was not sure how this would go over and how it would hold up since we met early in the morning and trained late and were basically eating off of a tailgate. It was wonderful! It made enough to use for the next days event and it held up beautifully. I am making it tomorrow for group of friends coming over. It is great for a casual group or for a slightly more formal luncheon event. The flavors were terrific!

I made this for lunch for a friend's birthday. It made a lot of dressing, so I slathered the chicken breasts in about 1/2 cup of it and let them marinade for a few hours before roasting. I used bacon instead of pancetta also. Those chicken breasts roasted up so juicy and full of flavor I couldn't stop picking at them when I was making the sandwich. I used a brown and serve ciabatta that you crisp up in the oven for 11 minutes or so. My only negative note is that the dressing was a tad salty and next time I will cut back the anchovy paste to a teaspoon. This was by far one of the the best sandwiches I ever ate and can't wait to make it again.

I only made the dressing for a salad (added grated parm but it was fantastic! Fresh parsley from our garden didn't hurt! my husband calls it "our" salad now.

This sandwich was delicious! I made Ina's roasted chicken breast stuffed with the herb goat cheese (which is also delicious and added a few chicken breasts to cook at the same time. Next day I reheated the extra chicken and assembled the sandwich. I will definitely make this sandwich again.

This is a masterpiece sandwich, the sauce is the thing that takes it over the top. I followed the suggestions of other reviewers. I marinated the chicken in an Italian dressing for a few hours and I chopped the sundried tomatoes into small pieces. My family loved it. I will make this again for sure. I was hesitant to use the anchovy paste but I tried it and the sauce was excellent. I made the sauce in the morning and the flavors tasted even better later in the day when I served it. Well worth the effort. (Note:the anchovy paste is located where they sell the canned sardines, ect. I was looking where they sell fresh seafood in the store.

I thought the chicken on this sandwich was bland. It could have used something extra. Maybe more Caesar dressing. All we tasted was the bacon. This sandwich has potential, but it needs something more.

This recipe is perfect! I used bacon because I didn't have any pancetta and didn't have anchovie paste, so I just left it out. It was delicious. It didn't taste like anything was missing. It was also extremely easy to make.
