Simply a great sandwich! My boyfriend loved the simplicity and said it was one of the best sandwiches he'd ever had. If you're looking for an easy but delicious sandwich to make--go with this classic!

OMG Delicious! Didn't have lettuce on hand but sandwich was still out of this world. Using thick cut bacon instead of regular really makes a difference. It makes the sandwich heartier and meaty. Thanks Ina!

Cal BLT's are always a favorite for a weekend brunch or about anytime for a quick snack. At my home we make the recipe Ina discribes with a change in the Avacado. We make a large bowl of Guacamole for dipping with chips while watching the games or chatting with friends, and use some of the guacamole in place of the plain Avacado. We like the added heat of the peppers etc. Also it's easier than the slippery avacado slices which tend to fall out. Since the salt is in the "Gauc" that ingredient can be deleted in Ina's recipe. Thanks Ina for another fun treat Good Show!

This recipe elevates the sandwich to new heights, however im not a huge fan of avacados so i used a fried egg instead. It was fantastic. Gotta Love Ina!

I love this version, but I've also made it as a grilled sandwich, layering the bacon, tomato, avocado, and also cheddar cheese (omit the lettuceand grilling it like a grilled cheese sandwich - great with any kind of soup, but with fresh cream of asparagus is the best!

These BLTs are delicious. Leave it to Ina to turn something boring into something fantastic! I particularly loved the way the bacon was cooked. This will be my go to method for bacon from now on. No more grease all over the kitchen!!!! I made Ina's Honey White Bread (Barefoot Contessa at Home for these sandwiches and it put them over the top. Thanks Ina!

Hard to improve on Ina's cooking, but add some pepperjack cheese (C and a fried egg (E and it's even better!

I never thought of putting avocado on a BLT until I saw this episode. It is so scrumptious!! I make mine like a layered toast instead of a sandwich. Yummy!

I have never really liked BLTs until my friend made this particular recipe. I was blown away! The bacon is perfectly crisped in the oven, the bread is crunchy and lemon juice adds a wonderful zest! It's the only way we make BLTs anymore. My husband doesn't eat pork so we made his with turkey bacon which turned out very good too!

I make a few adjustments to this recipe, but it's great just the way it is.

If anyone is interested, I use the lemon garlic mayo recipe Giada has for her sweet potato fries as the mayo on this sandwich.

I also use heirloom tomatoes, and the flavor of those just really enhance the flavor of the sandwich.
