Great iced tea....but no restaurant in CA would know what you are talking about if you asked for "CA Iced Tea". I'm a CA native and been here for over 4 decades and have not heard this ever used. If in CA, ask for a Arnold Palmer. Yum!!!

Lusiana tea bags are made for ice tea, I am a southerner as well, cut make on the lemonjuic if you thinks its to much. You can use artifiacl sweetner if you want as well.
I put the teags in the canister of the coffee maker, run 4 cups of water through, I put the sweetner and the tea bags in the canister of the coffee maker and turn it on.
Let it steep than had cold water.

Mmm! So light and refreshing! However, I can't imagine using a whole cup of lemon juice, because I used 2 lemons (about 1/3 cup and it is just right. I boiled the teabags in the water, then dissolved 1/2 cup sugar in the hot tea before I added it to the cold water and lemon juice.

Loved this recipe. Except I added more lemon and cut down on the sugar, wow how sharp is that taste! Loved the comment from the southern tea drinker.....bit of a softy me thinks! I'm English and know what drinking tea is all about! Loved this drink, and now always have some ready in the fridge!

Delicious! I didn't have superfine sugar so I boiled the water and regular sugar together to make simple syrup and let it cool before adding it to the tea and lemon. We loved it.

Way too much lemon juice! As a Southerner and a lover of tea; the lemon at 1 cup was just too much for us.

While this is a simple recipe, it is quite delicious (and hey I'm from California and drink sugar in my tea, so I don't know what all those other people are talking about!. and is always a hit when I prepare it for friends. It's yummy and refreshing!
As a side note: I find it quite odd when people give a recipe 1 star when they haven't even tried it, if you think you wouldn't like it then simply go on to the next recipe and please don't bring the rating of a recipe down simply because you don't like it's name.
