This was good. Used turkey bacon instead and that was just ok...would probably skip the bacon next time. A nice alternative salad with a great citrus twist.

A good salad but I thought it was a little too strong of the orange flavor.

This is my favorite salad and the dressing is what makes this salad special. I sometimes mix half arugula and half baby spinach or mixed spring greens because my husband thinks the arugula is too strong by itself. It is great both ways and a real hit with company.

This is outstanding. If you don't make it you are missing something that not only taste good but looks great. Do yourself a favor and make it.

The perfect summer salad! We've made both with the bacon and without...it's really a preference of taste. I don't think it needs the bacon (I didn't have any when I went to make this the second time, and I didn't miss it. It's such a pretty-looking salad too!

I have been making this for more than a year. It is a hit at dinner parties. It makes a great statement served in a large martini glass with the dressing in a shot glass so they can add as much as they like. Guests think I can actually cook after eating this salad. It is easy and very refreshing especially on hot summer days. I add a bit more mustard to dressing

I made this with baby spinach and without the bacon. It was was a very delicious and hearty salad! On the show she says 'just enough dressing to cover' but the amount the recipe produces is wayyyy more than you would need. You could cut the oil in half and have a lighter, more flavorful dressing.

This is a great salad, especially for company! I used spinach because that is what I had on hand but bet that the arugula would rock! I didn't have bacon on hand but I had pancetta and gave that a fry and crumble....awesome flavors. I watched the show and made it for dinner an hour later it looked so good! Just happened to have some of the ingredients....you really can play with it - I used dried blueberries also...The vinegrette is very good - be sure to add about 2 tsp salt to make it perfect...she doesn't say how much in her recipe here but on the show she says 2 tsp. Wonderful!
