This is a wonderful salad. To add some sweetness to balance the salty bacon, I used candied walnut. Fabulous!

Delicious! I roasted a skin-on chicken breast, shredded it and then added it to the salad before serving. My husband loved it and said it was a keeper!

***Note to other reviers, Gorgonzola IS blue cheese, just a very mild form of blue cheese.
Carrying on...
This recipe is insanely delicious. I subbed spring mix as other reviews suggested as I could not find arugula and added more pepper to the dressing to recreate that peppery flavor arugula adds. Also, I used dried cherries instead of the cranberries. I doubled it for a baby shower I went to and some ladies were fighting over the last helping.
Delicious and easy. Tastes so gourmet. Sure to impress any palate.

I liked the salad itself, but the dressing had too much going on.

I've made this salad several times as it is a huge hit in my house. I use spinach and add some pepper to the salad in place of arugula. I also don't add a lot of blue cheese. The dressing is delicious and goes so well with the walnuts and dried cranberries!

This salad is delicious! I substituted Romaine lettuce for the arugula, used turkey bacon instead of pork bacon, and a Fuji apple instead of Granny Smith. A tasty delight for salad lovers.

Oh, my goodness! This is our new family favorite salad, and I have some picky eaters! My husband even drank up all of the remaining salad dressing. :-

I skipped the walnuts because I don't really like nuts, and used regular bacon. Turned out very, very yummy! the flavors go really really well together!!! another hit Ina!
