I saw her make this on tv a coupla days ago and I just had to make it...I actually had some pesto already made in my fridge as well as some grilled chicken & apple sausage,so I just went & got some of those little sweet grape tomatoes & angel hair pasta and got goin...I cut tomatoes in half ,added the pesto & crushed red pepper flakes and let tomatoes juice up a bit as pasta was cooking...I went to my garden & snipped some fresh parsley into it,sliced the apple chkn sausage on the bias & mixed all together...grating some fresh parmesean chz onto top...Dios mio...it was superb...NOW...I am just waiting for Trish Yearwoods Cold Oven Poundcake to cool for some dessert...Check that baby out as well...no preheating...Perfect for this hot humid post Tropical Storm Andrea 90degree day...

AWESOME recipe! So simple yet delicious. I had to substitute some of the fresh herbs for dried ones, but it still turned out great.

This dish is so easy and delicious! It's great to be able to use herbs and tomatoes from my garden. Will be making again for sure (maybe w/shrimp.

Yum, yum! My hubbie loved it. I didnt change a thing. It is so fresh and authentically Italian. Homegrown tomatoes make the difference. I used quinoa pasta, which is gluten free and very tasty.

I REALLY didn't feel like "cooking" tonight, but I had purchased some fresh-on-the-vine tomatoes that needed to be used. This was perfect. I used dried herbs cuz that is what I had on hand - and they were just fine. I added fresh chives to help pop the green. Paired it with a light white wine and enjoyed a perfect summer evening dining on the deck.

Delicious. I loved it altho I made just a little bit for myself. I only had fresh basil, but I had the other herbs dried. Also used grated parmeson from the store, but it was good anyway.

I made this and it literally took only about 15 min. I thought it was missing something and then came to realize I forgot the salt! haha! I still thought it turned out great and even my 3 and 5 yr old liked it.
