This is the only way my husband, who says he hates squash, will eat it. It looks great on a holiday table and is a wonderful addition when it's easy to have a carb heavy meal. I enjoy serving this all year long becuase it's so good.

This was really yummy! The hardest part was cutting the squash up, but I think that was only because I had never cooked with this kind of squash before. My boyfriend and I look forward to eating this during the winter!

very easy and very tasty -- just watch your oven so squash doesn't burn.

This is the only way to eat squash... What a better way to get your beta carotene.. A note to Diane from Kirkland WA... Do yourself a favor and go to Sams or another big box wholesale shopping club and invest in a pair of stainless steel baking sheets like Ina uses.... They are wonderful...and no sticking...

Ever since I made this recipe, butternut squash has become a staple in my house. My whole family loves it, especially my seven year old son. There are never any leftovers and we all fight for the last piece. Thanks Ina. This is the only way I make squash now!

This recipe is so easy that I am ashamed to admit that I have never cooked butternut squash before. Not only is it an easy recipe but also incredibly delicious, again a big THANK YOU to Ina.

Great recipe for squash.
Make sure you have a good chef's knife and a Y shaped peeler.
