I've made this recipe every Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter for the past 3 years now and the whole family LOVES it! Everyone asks for it and looks forward to it every holiday!

I thought it was far too rich. I also thought the nutmeg was overpowering. I even cut back on some of the butter and cheese and it was still too rich. I missed the flavor of the cauliflower all together. I will try it again, but only make half of the sauce. Sorry Ina. I was really looking forward to this. : (

Beyond TASTY! I cut out the nutmeg, but followed every other ingredient/instruction. Guests that NEVER eat Cauliflower devoured this dish and now I'm asked to make it all the time. Thanks Ina!

Although I love Ina, this was not my favorite recipe. However, my family seemed to enjoy it.

Honestly, I never thought cauliflower could taste this good! It's cheesy, flavorful, and not hard to make! Once again, Ina proves she knows what she is doing.

I ran out of ideas for cauliflower and quit eating it. This one is a keeper! I did make some modifications. I had some left over monterey jack cheese and used that instead of the expensive Gruyere. I always use more cheese than any recipe states. My sauce was a tad watery and had to thicken it a bit with more flour. Was the most delicious cauliflower I have eaten to date!!!
