I don't understand all the rave reviews. This recipe is woefully under-seasoned for a dish that calls itself chili (more like a chicken and tomato stew. I'll admit that we like pretty robust flavors in my house, but I increased the chili powder to 3 tablespoons and doubled the cumin, but still found the dish bland. It's healthful and looks/smells great and was easy to make, but not going to make it to our usual rotation. This is the first time I've tried one of Ina's recipes; disappointing, but I'll try others.

This remix of beef chili is great! My family and I eat this with tortilla chips and cornbread.

Very simple and completely DELICIOUS! I used boneless thighs instead of chicken breasts and a little more chili powder and red pepper flakes than the recipe called for. Even the kids loved it and they are very picky eaters.

Delicious!! I did use cilantro instead of basil based on suggestion from others and it turned out great. My husbands even wants me to make it for his office chili cook-off! Thanks Ina for helping me make another great family dinner.

I made this dish for my friends last night and it turned out amazing! I've never made chili before and thought this was a very nice and healthy version. It was easy to make and from now on I will always roast my chicken the way Ina does! The chicken turned out tender and juicy. Yum!
I paired the chili with Giada's Scallion and mozzarella cornbread! It turned out great! Will make this meal again and again!

I made this for my Super Bowl party today. Everyone loved it! I did add 2 cans of kidney beans and also added a bit of cilantro instead of basil. It was delicous!

Great recipe, very fresh tasting and different. Loved it. The only changes I made were adding chicken sausage (purchased at Trader Joe's along with the chicken that I had. I also added fresh cilantro instead of fresh basil as the store was out of fresh and a drained can of red beans. I increased the amt. of spices, added dried basil and it turned out perfectly.
