There hasn't been anything yet that I have made from Ina's show that wasn't good. But, with this chicken chilli dish, it was simple, tasty, filling and delicious. Oh what can I say, I'm a fan :

I happened to switch channels from the endless children's shows to my fave, the Food Network, in time to see this recipe prepared. I had poached chicken tenders already in the fridge and amazingly had the rest of the ingredients. Put it together at about 3/4 the recipe (there are two of us. I added canned white beans and instead of tortilla chips I added coarsely chopped avocado afterward. It was phenomenal - healthy and extremely filling. My husband loved it and it was such a nice change from all the rich food from the New Year's weekend. I will definitely make it again.

As always, Ina shines with this recipe. I added a can of black beans and a third clove of garlic, doubled the chili powder and used boneless-skinless roasted chicken breasts instead of bone-in skin-on breasts. We ate it with tortilla chips, sour cream and shredded cheddar. Excellent!

This was one heck of a tasty dish! My husband and brother and sister-in-law loved it as well. I took other reviewer's tips and added a bit more chili powder and red pepper flakes and also substituted cilantro for the basil. I also added a can of black beans (drained. You really can't go wrong with this recipe. While roasting the chicken adds great flavor, cooked boneless skinless chicken breasts would be fine. It would be just as great without the chicken as well. Definitely a keeper.

Great one dish meal with plenty of flavor. A hit with my family. Pleased ages 10-51...I thought that was impossible. Easy to make.

I'm sorry Contessa. You gotta stay out of the southwest. Here in Arizona, we use THE WHOLE BOTTLE of chili powder for a small family size pot. Chili powder is not hot. The Jalapenos on the side are hot.

I was desperate for a chili recipe to make for friends with very limited "likes". They don't like spicy food or beans, etc. Well, this is the recipe - mild, beanless, but with rich flavor-perfect!
