Easy for a dinner party if you have chicken all prepared before and just need to brown and cook. My guests really liked it.

I made this recipe tonight for dinner at the last minute. Had some fresh lemons and a bottle of white cooking wine handy. Loved the recipe. Tasted very good! It may seem that both sauteing & oven cooking the chicken is alot, but it really isn't. Steamed a bag of green beans on the side, and the sauce from the chicken was good with it too.

This is one of my go to recipes when I make a nice dinner. We love all the tartness from the lemons that I double the sauce recipe to have extra on my mashed potatoes!
If you can't handle the lemons, just use less of it. The sauce won't appear to be thick when it's still hot in the pan (it's a butter sauce

My family and I loved this recipe! I'm not a good cook in any sense of the word! Somehow though, this meal turned out great! Just a note: You have to be quick when frying the chicken or the oil and butter will burn!

I made this for a dinner party this evening. Everyone raved about how good the flavor was and how moist the chicken was. (I usually wind up with dry chicken meat. I mixed both Panko and regular bread crumbs. I was able to fry the chicken and place it on a foil lined cookie sheet and cover the chicken with foil ahead of guests arriving. When the guests arrived I finished up with baking it in the oven. I only had about a 30 minute delay between steps, but it came out great! I did use less lemon than called for so it was not over powering. I will definitely make this again and again.

This was an easy dish to make, and the flavor was restaurant meal fantastic!! The lemon sauce was tart and lemony! If you like less lemon flavor, add chicken stock and less lemon, but the original recipe is an absolute winner! My husband raved and he's not really a chicken lover.
