Agree that a touch less lemon would be good, but will definitely increase the other ingredients as opposed to decreasing the lemon. We wanted more sauce! My husband jokes that I don't ever re-make recipes and begged that this one be made again.

The chicken came out great, but the sauce was way too lemony. It was overpowering. Next time I'd only use 1 lemon and I'd skip the step of adding the lemon halves.

Very tasty and simple to make. My sauce was a tad too salty, so next time I will not add any as another review suggested.

It was easier than I expected! I made sauteed broccolini as a side and my family put the lemon-wine sauce all over that, too.

Love this recipe! When making the sauce, I recommend waiting to add the salt until the reduction is complete in case your wine has enough salt when reduced. Another reviewer said the sauce was bitter. I didn't put the lemon halves in my sauce; I wonder if the bitterness came from the lemon rinds? The sauce definitely has a tang, so you do want to go easy when serving the sauce. Still, YUM!

In our standard rotation and I would recommend pouring the sauce on as needed. It can be too lemony if you try to use all the sauce. Delicious flavors! =

Sauce was AWFUL!! I love Ina and normally love everything she makes, but this sauce was too BITTER. The chicken was fine but I couldn't serve it with the sauce. I followed the recipe, so it wasn't me, but I can't imagine anyone thinking this sauce was good. I wasn't using cheap wine, and I used fresh lemons, so it wasn't my ingredients, but it was B.A.D. Sorry Ina, not this time.

It was my first time cooking chicken breast with bread. I love it, I really did. What really suprise me was that my fiance' really loved it, he ate it all. He is really a picky eater as well as my 3 year old daughter, but she chose that then the regular chicken I made. We enjoyed it for our dinner tonight, thank you.

It was very good and the sauce by itself seemed strong with the lemon but on the chicken it was a perfect balance. Only issue I had is that the recipe said the chicken would be done in 5-10 minutes in the oven, but I had to cook it for atleast 20 till it was done. But very tasty and I will make it again!
